Circle of Life Aging Services has a growing line of
fun and successful education games for you!
(Did we mention your participants will learn a thing or two while playing?)

ELDER ISSUES

The objective of the Elder Issues games is to increase awareness of issues relating to the care of older adults in the community as well as long-term care facilities. Participants in each game are assigned roles and then discuss "real life" scenarios from the perspective of their role.

ELDER ISSUES Community Version
This game was developed for use in the classroom with students (social work, nursing, gerontology, medical, seminary). It can also be used with professionals, volunteers or other employees of agencies serving older adults. Participants of the game discuss “real life” scenarios involving older adults, family members/caregivers, government, direct service providers, crises and lawsuits. Roles in this game include: Client, Service Provider, Government, and Family/Caregiver.

OLDER COUPLES: NEW ROMANCES
Discussion Activity

OLDER COUPLES: NEW ROMANCES Discussion Activity is designed to be facilitated to groups of seniors, students and/or professionals in the aging field. Participants are in small groups and discuss common scenarios and issues that occur in relationships that begin later in life. Past participants have commented that this activity is "long overdue" and have benefited from the discussion of these issues.
